Old Page of Quran with Surat Al Fatiha From the 19th Century

The Text of al-Fātiḥah (The Opening Sura of Quran: Sura 1) for a copy of Muṣḥaf Sharīf that was written by Muṣṭafá al-Surūrī , otherwise known as Bādhānī Zādah, in 1270 H in this copy of al-Muṣḥaf al-Sharīf is placed in a gilded frame with colorful vegetal and geometrical ornaments. The name of the Sura and the number of its verses are placed inside two rectangles; one above, and the other below, the text was transcribed in beautifully exacted (fully accentuated) naskh script, with a brief explanation. The Quranic text in each and every page is set inside a well-executed frame, in gold and red. The Verse (Aya)-end marks are in decorated golden circles. The Name of each Sura (Chapter) is contained inside a gilded rectangle showing also the Sura’s total number of Ayat (Verses).
